Nitish Rana, the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders, and Hrithik Shokeen, the player for the Mumbai Indians, engaged into a furious argument after the latter cheaply got rid of the former during the IPL game on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai:

After dismissing the KKR skipper, Rana was on his way back to the dugout when the incident occurred in the ninth over of their encounter. Shokeen, a bowler for MI, then turned around and violently yelled at Rana.

Hrithik Shokeen, who was called into the attack to bowl the seventh over, conceded 11 runs in his opening over. In his second over that he bowled, he dismissed KKR skipper Nitish Rana on the very  first ball of his second over. After Rana’s dismissal , Rana and the young bowler exchanged a few words in the middle before the former headed back to the pavilion.

The 29-year-old used some abusive words before he walked back. He was seen some foul words, “Teri m** c**t dunga l**** k b***”.

Shokeen instantly turned to face the batter when Ramandeep Singh, a replacement fielder, successfully caught Rana at far on. However, as Rana turned around to confront the young players charging at him, Piyush Chawla, the senior player in the match, and Mumbai Indians’ acting captain Suryakumar Yadav intervened to defuse the situation.
